Lost River Valley Campground is surrounded on three sides by National Forest, and nestled between the banks of Lost River and Walker Brook. Our 164 well-maintained wooded and brookfront sites offer the utmost in tranquility while remaining so close to many of the region’s most popular attractions.

Check-in time is 1:00PM on your date of arrival.
Check-out time is 11:00AM on your date of departure.
Campers’ guests must be pre-registered and costs do apply.
Quiet Hours: 10:00PM - 8:00AM.

Glamping Cabins
Be one of the first to stay in the brand new 312 sq ft Glamping cabins. Whether you are on the mountain or in a wooded site, you will be pleasantly surprised. This is camping with amenities. Equipped with your own private bathroom and kitchenette, each cabin accommodates up to 5 people. There is a master bedroom with a queen size bed, plus one set of twin bunk beds and one futon. Other amenities include: ceiling fan, AC, heat, microwave, kitchen table, cook top stove, fire ring with cooking grill, outdoor porch light, electricity, mountain fresh drinkable water, and refrigerator. You will need to bring your personal items, including towels, cookware and bed linens.
Camping Cabins
Surrounded by national forest, trees, rocks, moss and other forest vegetation, some of our camping cabins sit above the Lost River so you are feet from the water. These camping cabins are available with either 1 or 2 rooms. With a double bed and set(s) of bunk beds inside, they comfortably accommodate 4-6 people. The beds have four inch sterilized foam mattresses. Some people bring an air mattress to put over top for added comfort. You will need to bring your own bedding and cookware. We allow 1 small tent on site. There are also lights, electric outlets, a ceiling fan and a chest of drawers. The water is outside on a spigot along with a fire ring and picnic table. The restrooms and showers are within a minute walk from all cabins.
Wooded Full Hookup Sites
These full hookup (water, electric and sewer) sites are located in the center of the campground and are spacious. They are grouped all together with private wooded sites. RV sizes up to 32 feet only. Most are pull-throughs and two are back-ins. They are wooded (surrounded by national forest, trees, rocks, moss and other forest vegetation), dirt base camp site floor, and shaded. Short walking distance to view the Lost River or Walker Brook. Amenities include sewer hookup, electricity, water faucet hookup with clean tested drinking water, a metal fire ring with a flip over grate for cooking and a picnic table. The restrooms and showers are within a two minute walk.
Water & Electric Sites
If waking up to the sound of water or relaxing by your campfire and enjoying the scenery are pleasures of yours, these sites are for you. They allow up to 4 adults, unlimited kids, 1 car parking. You can have an RV, vehicle tenting and a small tent. Each site is unique, wooded and shaded, great for cooling down in the summer months. All sites are well-maintained with a dirt base and come equipped with a drinkable water spigot, and electric. There is also a metal fire ring with a flip over grate for cooking and a picnic table. It is a short walk to the restroom, laundry and game room. These are our most popular sites!
Economy Waterfront Sites
If waking up to the sound of water is a pleasure of yours, and relaxing beside the water with your campfire, then you will enjoy these sites on the bank of the Lost River. Adults, children and dogs all love to climb in the river and on the rocks. These sites are located behind the camp store and next to the scenic highway. So if a vehicle drives by, you will certainly hear and see it. Each site is wooded, shaded and feet to the river. The water tends to be deeper in this area, depending on the amount of rainfall and time of season. Swimming pond is located across the street. All sites are well maintained with a dirt base, equipped with a drinkable water faucet, and electricity. There is a very short walk to the restrooms and showers, laundry and game room. Also includes a metal fire ring with a flip over grate for cooking and a picnic table. One car parking.
Tent Sites
Tent sites are located throughout the campground, surrounded by national forest (trees, rocks, moss, and other forest vegetation), and either within walking distance or located right along the Lost River or Walker Brook. Single campsites will allow up to 4 adults, 2 tents and parking for 1 car. Some sites have electric. These sites are not suitable for vehicle campers. Trailers, pop ups of any sort are not allowed at these sites. Double sites are 2 sites put together and allow 8 adults, 4 tents and parking for 2 cars. Group sites are primitive (no water spigot) sites that are great for larger groups. They allow for 16 adults, 8 tents and 4 car parking. Each site has a dirt campsite floor, a water faucet with clean tested drinking water, a metal fire ring with a flip over grate for cooking, and a picnic table. The walking distance to the restrooms and showers can range from 1 minute to 8 minutes, depending on the location of the site within the campground. No trailers, RVs, pull behinds, pop-ups of any sort are allowed at these sites.
Group Sites
If nature is your thing, these sites are located in the woods surrounded by national forest, rocks, moss and other forest vegetation in an area behind the swimming pond, set way back. These large sites overlook a peaceful stream of water. There is a large rock fire ring and 2 picnic tables. The restrooms and showers are located at the main bath house and camp store. These are great sites for larger groups that enjoy nature. Parking is located at the entrance to the sites. One car is allowed to drive in at a time and unload only.
Seasonal Sites
Our seasonal sites are nestled into the mountainside with breathtaking 180 degree view of near and far mountain ranges. Travel up Harley Mountain Road and enjoy your views from the the mountaintop. These sites have full hookups and can handle all sized trailers. A fire ring, drinkable water, and picnic table are on each site. Two car parking. Cost includes up to 4 people. Extended season from May to October, depending on weather.
